My design extends from the original building by way of second and third floor buildings. It includes a lot of study rooms as well as open floor areas where students can spend time with each other or get work done. I wanted to create a more modern design for this extension so I maximized the amount of glass material and attempted to keep the floor plan as open as possible. One feature I would like to highlight within my design is the many tiers and balconies created by offsetting the levels.

If I had more time one this assignment, I would've incorporated more outdoor and green elements, as well as being more conscious about the amount of area I'm utilizing.
