Why: The number of occupants and the building height have a significant impact on determining elevator specifications. This is one of the challenges that building owners and engineers must address.

How: The tool extracts information from Revit data containing the building dimensions and Excel data with elevator specifications, and calculates the desired number of elevators for the building. In addition, it calculates the percentage of floor area that the elevators occupy and helps determine if the elevator specifications are appropriate for the floor layout.
