One of the first spaces that came to mind was the entrance of the SF MoMA. I remember when I first entered the space I enjoyed the contrast from the outside facade and how I went from a typical small frame door entrance to a massive lobby area that had an open design. I’m also a big fan of stairs being used as a statement piece because it proves things can be functional and beautiful. Also enjoyed the light coming in from the skylights and the art exhibit in display that you can experience on the third floor.

The next interior I enjoy is Grand Central Station. Again, the an example of how something functional can be beautiful and iconic. Most train stations are not exciting but this building has its own identity and lets in lights beautifully. Also, golden hour or nighttime feels like a movie. Also, love any time architecture and art meet on a ceiling, major examples being cathedrals. Architecture is art but I do appreciate when a space is given for art to be display.
