When thinking about delivering sustainable design ideas to the audience, I referred to the principles of sustainable buildings, such as choosing sustainable sites, saving energy and materials, and improving indoor environment quality. Then, glass buildings pop up as glass is known for an energy saving building materials, especially the low-e glass. Furthermore, glass makes the exhibition areas bright and modern, which are commonly seen in exhibition buildings, galleries and museums. Considering the proposed sites are in the middle of beautiful natural sceneries, the enhancement of aesthetics by glass helps the building blend into the proposed sites easily.

From the structure perspectives, glass makes the building weight less which saves materials and cost. Following are some sustainable buildings that exemplify the application of glass.
