Description
The Field Research Station pictured above is designed to be 507 SF with wooden walls, an asphalt roof, and a concrete floor. The property incorporates various types of window styles, particularly focusing on larger windows near the desks to ensure natural light is provided. The Field Research Station includes a 80 SF storage area and an ADA compliant bathroom with a window for ventilation and a sink. In the workplace area the 8 foot lab bench includes a sink, and behind there are four desks to allow for additional work. The desks are a large size to provide ample amount of desks space and they are also oriented in a way that faces each other to maximize space and promote collaboration. There is a private way that leads directly to the workspace as well as trees that provide natural shading and improve design aesthetics. There are 18 solar panels which are expected to provide all if not the large majority of the electricity needed for the field station.
