first I calculate the load and then according to the load the space type, I set up air handler unit and air terminal, finally use different size of duct to connect them.
for the main duct, the size I use is 30*18, and for the subduct I use 18*12 to provide enough flow for the air. Each air terminal’s flow is 500, and according to different layer’s air demand, I set up different air handler unit, for level 1, each building I use 4000, and for level 2 I use 8000, and for level 3 I use 8500. And then I let the duct to stay closer to the ceiling.
Also, for level 1 and 2 I use indoor air handler unit and for layer 3 I make use of my big roof and set up a roof handler unit and save the room.
