Overview

Photo Frame-R will generate a parametrically designed 3-D printable photo frame that can be optimized for print time, print cost, and design intricacy or complexity. The tool is a great entry point for people learning how use 3D printers; it illustrates how various printer settings and design choices can shift and change the outcomes of a print.

Photo Frame Input Parameters

The user has the opportunity to tweak a series of properties to vary their design including:

• X & Y position of the “attractor point” which dictates the size of the modulations of the features on the frame
• Frame Feature Size, Geometry and Density
• Picture and Frame dimensions
