HVAC Strategy

  • HVAC System is mainly using VAV single duct system. Since the surrounding environment is medium temperature, but the exposure to the sunlight is hard, the air conditioning system shoud be adjusted for each area.
  • The external shading with natural ventilation system helps us to mitigate the energy usage intensity during summer season, while in winter that shading will shut down the energy gain. Therefor, we need more energy usage for winter.
  • VAV is one of the Air-based ducted heating systems. The Air Handler varies the amount of air flow (CFM) at the overall system level based on the demand required by the zone level VAV boxes, which vary air flow based on their local demand.
