Design Strategy: I implemented a structural system approach by positioning W-Wide Flange Columns of W10 x 49 only to simplify the design as the building is not too large. Steel columns were used because of their high strength and long-lasting qualities. At the same time, W-shaped steel beams of W12 x 26 were carefully arranged following gridlines to connect the columns. These beams were selected for their capability to cover longer spans, essential due to the large openings in the building's layout, which demanded longer beam spans for proper support.
