Module 2 - Ripples on a Pond
The first step to this module was to create a grid of cylinders. I used a rectangular grid function with number sliders to control the extent and size of the grid. This is then connected to a cylinder function along with a number slider for radius. Next, an attractor point is made by using a point function to create a point and a closest point function to store that point in the cloud. Then, the grid points are connected to the closest point function. This causes each grid point to identify the distance it is relative to the attractor point. Finally I created the sine wave by using sine tool. By connecting this tool to the relative distances created by the closest point function creates the ripple effects of the cylinders.
