For this module I added in the two measures of measuring solar potential of roof and non ground surfaces. I then tried to estimate the heating and cooling load based on the surface area of solar and then comparing it to the PV potential of the roof. I think my process of estimating this was not quite correct but hopefully as an estimation it would get the job done. I followed the workflows for calculating the solar potential of the roof and non ground surfaces. I think because of the twisting nature, my Z value for isolating the roof had to be 0.5 which was far greater than that in the video.

The bottom three rows in the chart are the additions from Module 5. The solar potential of the roof and non ground surfaces are rows 4 and 5 and the additional energy needed to heat and cool building not provided by solar on the roof is row 6.

The SingleInput custom node was updated to fit in the solar analysis. The building had to be analyzed at each iteration so fitting in the analysis was necessary.

As well, I mistakenly thought increasing the building height would increase the roof area. Seeing as it did not, that meant increasing the height only resulted in an increasing differential between energy supplied and needed.
