In keeping with Twitbook’s desire for a forward-thinking buiding I wanted to incorporate sustainable designs into the building. The glazed facade allows for ample light in the building. Upon completion of the building there would exist interior shading systems and external fins to help manage the internal temperature and glare in the building. There also exists an unfilled core within the building. This is meant to promote natural ventilation as the air will flow through each floor and rise through this core. The balconies on the second and seventh to tenth floors aim to promote Twitbook’s employees to engage in their work outdoors.
