• In terms of sustainability, my friend cares most about preserving resources so the businesses can continue to prosper without being taken off-guard by a sharp decline in natural resources like lumber, oil, and water.
• My friend is currently using less water and is shopping in stores that have or accept reusable containers and are transparent about their sourcing. She mentioned that Whole Foods often uses reusable packaging.
• My friend's driving belief behind her practices is that environmental preservation can even serve to boost the economy because it will create new jobs and shops that offer more sustainably sourced items.
• She would like to learn more about the root issues of climate change because she feels like she is only doing sustainable actions based on what others have told her, not actions based on her own research.
