Testing:

I tested out two roles:

  • Role 1: imagine you are a chef at the dining hall
  • Role 2: imagine you are at home and want cooked white rice to prepare dinner fast

Questions:

  1. How intuitive did you find the app’s interface to list food items? Or making requests?
  2. Do you think the app is easy to use?
  3. Do you think the app effectively fosters community engagement through food exchanges within neighbourhoods?
  4. Do you think the option to donate surplus food to charities through the app is convenient?
  5. Are there any additional features and improvements you would suggest for the app?

Suggestions for iteration:

  • Partnerships with charities or food banks to make it easier for users to choose where their surplus food donations go.
  • Add feedback and rating system.
  • Make it accessible for people of determination – include language.
