What did you observe?

💡
What did you observe and note as you watched users interact with your prototypes?
  • They liked the colors and the option to customize the object
  • They thought it was better to have these new straps and adapt to different users
  • They highlighted the necessity of having a simple chair that is functional for sitting down in the park comfortably, and that it should respond primarily to that need

What feedback did your users share after the testing?

💡
What feedback did your users share after they've had a chance to interact with and explore your prototypes?
  • How adequate do you perceive the solution for your identified problem?
    • The chair is good in that it helps with pain & also prevents further back pain
    • The chair is portable and can be customized to be neutral to be able to take to an office or a class and still be formal
    • The chair makes sitting in the park comfortable and easy, it also helps hold the phone or computer upright making it easy to study and to work
  • What are your general concerns with this solution?
    • That it should be very light and easy to carry
    • The bulkiness, people should be incentivized to use it
    • Tradeoff functionality vs. customization: find a way to make it feel personal & be minimalist at the same time not to add weight
  • Any suggestions for the materials that can be used?
    • Backpack straps
    • Recycled plastic
    • Recycled fabric
    • Used wool for cushion
    • Velchro
