Description
This structure is meant to be the type of structure for maybe a bus stop, or small covered pavilion. After creating this shape, when looking at it from above it sort of looks like a frog. I started off by creative an ellipse at the base and then input a height into the structure. Additionally, there is an option to change the shape along the back of the structure, and the over hand of the front of the structure. These points/curves are then covered into an initial loft. From here the loft can be divided into a number of horizontal and vertical grids. The horizontal grids, are the divided into a number of points and then the distance is measured to the center of the ellipse. The points are then offset normal to the horizontal grid in relation to the sine function. This is what causes the wave shape. Users can change the number of waves as well as amplitude. Squares are then extruded over these lines. There is an input for the number of vertical grids, and then a circular tube is extruded over this, and you can pick the radius of these tubes. Additionally, there is an option to toggle on/off a center column.
