Please describe a domain or an area of opportunity that you’d like to use as the focus for the design of a PRODUCT that supports or promotes sustainable behaviors and practices for INDIVIDUALS in day-to-day use.

The domain that I’d like to focus on is….

Sustainable redevelopment for displaced populations returning to their homeland. Incorporating modular design and locally-sourced building materials to build quickly and reduce “extractionary” material consumption.

This area is important/interesting to me because….

Accelerated re-growth is often highly unsustainable and fueled by hyper-capitalist interests, without the users (and their local environments) at the center of design.
