My name is Yonatan. I studied Mechanical Engineering at Regional Maritime University in Accra, Ghana. I have been a Civil Engineers Corps officer in the U.S. Navy for the last 8 years and worked in various roles such as Construction Manager, Project Manager and Project Management branch head.
My primary goal for enrolling in the parametric modeling course is to master the advanced capabilities of parametric design and 3D modeling to enhance my expertise in civil engineering within the Navy. By learning Rhino, I aim to acquire the skills necessary to design, analyze, and optimize complex structures and systems more efficiently and accurately. This knowledge will enable me to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for naval infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, resilience, and sustainability. Furthermore, I intend to leverage the collaborative features of Rhino to improve communication and workflow between multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that projects are completed seamlessly and to the best possible standards. Ultimately, this course will empower me to take on more challenging projects and play a pivotal role in advancing the Navy's infrastructure capabilities, aligning with the strategic goals of the Civil Engineer Corps.
