  • A few sentences describing your modeling approach

I aim to create a canopy with a sleek and clean appearance, based on soft, flowing curves. Initially, I defined five distinct curves in Dynamo and lofted the surface based on these lines. I then defined UV grids and mapped them to the surface before creating adaptive panels on the surface. Ultimately, I decided against adding any beams or columns to avoid disrupting the clean appearance of the structure.

  • A brief description of your design outlining the parameters that can be used to flex and dynamically change your structure

In my design, the height, width, and spacing of each curve are adjustable. For instance, if I desire a more exaggerated style, I can increase the extension of the outermost curves. To further emphasize the curvilinear style of the structure, I have raised the endpoints of the second and fourth curves slightly.
