Model geometry: I really played around with it until I got a form I liked and was complex enough, and constrained some of the parameters by writing in some functions to lock in the general form I liked.

Modeling Approach: Here is my custom node logic on Dynamo to test a single parameter through 3 different metrics (gross floor area, surface area and volume).

Here is my Dynamo logic to run my sequence of test cases (varying tower base side length).

Results: My form does not allow any tower top height below 750’, so I instead chose to play around with the base length that reduced the original SF I had, which was at its max of 1.5M SF to the minimum requirement of 1.2M SF. Reducing one of the base side lengths did dramatically reduce the outputs. After trial and error, I chose a range of lengths (>6 test cases) that would work to give the 1.2 to 1.5M SF requirement. Here are the results from the following range tested (250-290’ in increments of 5’) of base side length 1.
