This research station is a state-of-the-art facility with high ceilings where the interior temperature is easily regulated by using solar heating through its south facing windows and by managing air circulation via its many accessible windows. The building includes three spacious individual working stations, a collaborative meeting room, a comfortable lab bench, a spacious bathroom, and a storage room. Additionally, the facility has an outdoor patio embraced by the two wings of the building, with tables to enjoy the nice California weather. Finally, the building operates entirely on solar power, having four high capacity solar panels with the ability to install more around the patio.
