My design for the building extension mainly focused on meeting the students' needs to have a nice and comfortable social area. Therefore, my second floor is entirely dedicated to creating spaces for the students to dine, meet, work, and have fun. My favorite design is the social space on the first floor where students can sit on concrete stairs to hang out and watch a huge projector screen. To make this building look modern yet not too deviate from the old building, I added a partial curtain wall on the side that's facing the quad and remain the old taste on most sides.
