Description
My architectural design encompasses a three-story building that seamlessly connects with the engineering facility on its first floor. This connecting portion serves as a vibrant dining area for students to enjoy their meals post-classes or engage in group discussions while relishing their food. I incorporated a glass facade on one side of the wall, enhancing the aesthetics of this connecting section. I designed one entire side of the wall with glass, drawing inspiration from my experiences at the undergraduate student center. Through these transparent walls, students can bask in campus views, soak in natural daylight, and revel in the warmth of the sun. Passersby can also catch a glimpse inside to witness the engineering students' showcased work in the gallery.
In front of the building, a charming garden graces the landscape, featuring a diverse array of plants and trees. The building offers ample space for students to study, socialize, and create, fostering an environment that extends beyond the confines of the classroom.
