Model Geometry #1: Back side
Model Geometry #2 : Front Side
Modelling Approach:
- Define Curves and add additional math to add waves to curve
- Created Points for Ribs and Divisions
- Added Pattern to create various element families on Revit
My modeling approach consisted of wanting to have a shelter that provided enough coverage for both rain and sun. A huge part of my process was simply understanding much better what each function was doing to the immediate graph so I maintained simple measurements and math functions. When it came to adding a pattern, I added two different types of panels: glaze and an open panel. Unlike the previous week, I tried to improve on my grouping/organization on the dynamo.
While I didn’t have much inspiration for this shelter, I think a bus shelter that kept coming to my mind was the one in my hometown. I didn’t directly implement its design, but I think there are some similarities in the panel types.
