Description
This building maximizes the natural lighting in the key spaces of the engineering commons. The bottom floor features a student art gallery contained in the half dome of class. Directly above is a premier “Maker Space” that provides students with access to lots of natural light while working with laser tools and saws. At the bottom floor is an outdoor cafe with seating for guests at the counter and at tables. The rooftop terrace is the main lounging area of this building, featuring several hammocks and a rooftop bar/cafe for visitors. The glass railings on this terrace give an exciting experience to visitors! Areas inside of the building include facilities for staff such as copy rooms, offices, lounges, bathrooms, offices, and lecture rooms.
