I chose to contruct the vacation home. Some of my highlights of my vacation home feature the second floor floor to ceiling curtain walls to not only regulate heat but to show the great view of teh landscapre while doing things like cooking, eating food, or lounging in the reclining chairs. Some of the component features that I really enjoyed is that I made my central meeting area outside on the deck featuring plenty of seating spaces as well as a fire and a grill. Another aspect that I enjoyed was the extra long dining table to accomodate a large family or a few families and an open kitchen to make the transportation of a feast from kitchen to table easy and uncrowded. I also enjoyed working to make a stairwell on the east side of the building to help make the travel from upstairs to downstairs out of the central living space. I included a closet that can double as a storage room right in the entry way to help to reduce the clutter that comes with large family gatherings. Some things I would work on more include I would have liked to have more of the bedrooms facing the view and include more windows to the bottom to make it seem less cramped. I also think that I would have included another half bath if possible because it seems you can’t have enough bathrooms.
