Q: Out of your options (recliner, 4 legged, adjustable wheely, wobble, kneeling, or couch), which chair will you choose?
A: (All) Sits at the normal 4 legged chair to maximize time, for stability when doing work.
Q. What do you think about the kneeling chair or wobble chair if presented to you one hour into your work, will you change seats?
A: (All) yes. Some change to beanbag/ recliner to take a nap, a kneeling chair for movement.
From my results, I concluded that when presented with options, most choose their safest option, a 4 legged chair for it’s familiarity. A point brought across is also their awareness of their presence when they move, that causes distraction for the the people around. The adjustable chair and couch are not mentioned as choices the people want. However, most are intrigued by the options of the wobble chair and kneeling chair for it’s unique ergonomic shape. For my first iteration, I will research more people friendly comfortable chairs and change out the ones I currently have.
