Beam: W-Wide Flange W14 X 26, Steel Columns: W-Wide Flange-Column W14 X 30 (for the main structure), Steel Concrete-round-column 12 feet(for the most rooms), Concrete Beam System: W-Wide Flange W14 X 26, Steel Foundation: Pile Cap – 1 Pile, Concrete and Steel
Structural Floors: Basic Wall Generic -300mm
Structural Walls: Basic Wall Exterior - Brick on Mtl. Stud. (For outer wal), Basic Wall Generic -200mm (for inter wall)
I used two different columns in the exhibition. One is W-Wide Flange Column. As we know, the flange shape column has a great beam shear stress performance. So, I put W-Wide Flange Column on the sides of the exhibition. And for the most room inside the building, I use the Concrete-round-columns. I that case, I can reduce the column size and lower the cost. And I do not put the column inside the any room because the building is exhibition center. The column inside the room will influence the appearance of the exhibition. Thus I use large Beam system to support the weight
Special structural challenges: When I put the column for the third floor, I fail to attach it to the roof. And I can not find the reason.
