For my building geometry I chose the One WTC from the Shared Library. To maintain inside the restraints of the assignment, the tower base is 150’x150’ and the height is varied from 600’ to 750’ as seen in the GIF below.
These selected heights provide between 1,200,000 and 1,500,000 SF of new floor area which can be seen the results table below that was automatically generated in Dynamo.
The code for this module seems short because of the custom node that was utilized when iterating over different tower heights. Both the overall dynamo graph and the custom node are included as screenshots and in the shared Autodesk folder.
For now, the only parameter that can be altered is the tower height, but the Dynamo workspace is set up so that other parameters can included in the changing design for future modules.
