Rise and Shine
Modeling Approach
For Part 1, I started with developing an arc-shaped wall that provides parameters to change radius, starting angle, ending angle, and height of the wall. In addition, I added another arc to the curve to bend the arc wall as well. Then using past knowledge, the surface was panelized with square panels and then the image file was imported to override the colors on the adaptive panels. Rotation was also accounted for. For Part 2, the concept is similar but the shape of the wall is different with the addition of adjusted heights based on color brightness from the imported image. Two lines were inputted to create a surface, then sine waves were added to both these lines to create a serpentine wall surface. The rest of the process was very similar to Part 1, with exception of brick sized panels and the implementation of remapping the range using color brightness.
