1. Start the Revit application
2. If prompted about whether to load the CSiXRevit plug-in, click the Always Load button.
3. Open your Revit structural model file.
4. Open a 3D view containing the structural elements to be shared.
5. Open the Add-ins tab > External Tools > Export to Create New ETABS SAFE or SAP2000 Model...
6. If prompted, choose a location for saving the files that are created by the export operation:
• the EXRlog file (a status log file)
• the EXR file (the exchange file that will imported by ETABS)
7. Open the ETABS application and import the EXR file.
