Description

I wanted to create a two-way shelter structure, each way with a specific use but with the same design. I decided that the easiest way to do that was changing the height for each side.

One side can be a bicycle parking, maybe a beverage machine, more seats for people waiting the bus or just chilling.

The taller side is meant to be the bus stop, this changes the slop, making it imposible for the water to drops from the front.

I started with the coding of the last exercise of module 3. Changing the number of ribs, the panel points on each rib, number and amplitude of waves on curve 3 and the families of the adaptive components for ribs and adaptive panels.

Then I duplicate the whole code and change the following to make a mirror:

  • y point to -13 on curve 1, making a mirror from the first shelter.
  • nothing on curve 2.
  • y point to -59 and z point to 70.4 on curve 3, making it a mirror from the first shelter, and taller.
