While designing the architectural elements for my building I wanted to have gender neutral restrooms in the first two floors as well as sufficient spacing between the restrooms to allow utilities to run through them. For my northern most restroom I created a room between the restrooms to allow for better serviceability of the fixtures. Although this resulted in additional piping to connect the two restrooms, it allows someone to walk into the room and service any of the fixtures.
