One Slide Backdrop for Your Live 90 Sec Elevator Pitch

150 years ago, advertisement columns were a marketing revolution.

3 reasons:

  1. the amount of information was huge
  2. always available
  3. a pillar was an eye catcher

I took this picture on Monday at Stanford campus: Advertisment columns did not change at all

And this is a problem. In todays world, smartphones provide information all the time and they are the eye catchers distracting people from reallife. Nobody of us wants that.

The solution: Carl- the column

  1. Carl is colourful
  2. attracts them through rotation
  3. he has a face, he is human-centered

His clear competitive advantage: One prototype tester said: “If Carl would exist, he would make my day”. Tell me one Social Media platform that can do that. This is what sustainable design can achieve.

Further, the model of Carl is scalable: Design as many faces as you want or earn money with brands

This is why I ask you to give Carl the column every point in the evaluation sheet.

I promise: If we can make Carl the column real, we can not only keep advertisement columns relevant for the next 150 years, but put a smile on people’s faces for many generations to come. Thank you.
