- Group the doors in the door schedule by Level and Type
- Open the door schedule
- Adjust the schedule properties to sort by level and then by family and type
- Include a footer at each sort level to display the number of doors included in each group
- When you have completed this step, your schedule view should look like this:
- Group the windows in the window schedule by Level and Type
- Open the window schedule
- Adjust the schedule properties to sort by level and then by family and type
- Add a new field to the schedule to display the count, then turn off the Itemize every instance check box on the sorting / grouping tab
- Filter the schedule to exclude the skylights at the roof level
- When you have completed this step, your schedule view should look like this:
- Group the rooms in the room schedule by Level and total the area of the rooms at each level
- Open the room schedule
- Adjust the schedule properties to sort by level
- Include a footer at each sort level to display the area on that level
- Include a grand total line to display the total area in the building
- Select the area field on the formatting tab, choose to calculate totals for this field
- When you have completed this step, your schedule view should look like this:
