- Edit the design options in the Open Plan vs. Separate Office option set.
- Open the Level 1 - New plan view.
- Select the new interior walls.
- Use the Add to Set tool to copy these interior walls into both of the design options in the Open Plan vs. Separate Office option set.
- Use the Active Design Option menu (at the bottom of the drawing area) to open the Separate Offices design option for editing, then make a few changes to the elements in this design option — for example, adding walls or moving a few doors.
- Use the Active Design Option menu to open the Open Plan design option for editing, then remove many of the new interior walls in this option to create a very open working space.
- Use the Active Design Option menu to return to the Main Model and note which design option is displayed.
- Try changing the Primary Option within this option set to select which wall layout design option will be displayed by default as the leading candidate.
- Edit the design options in the Facade Glazing Features option set.
- Open the Level 1 - New plan view.
- Decide on the standard exterior walls that you’d recommend be changed to curtain walls as one of the design alternatives, then split those walls (if needed) to isolate those portions.
- Select the exterior walls to potentially change, and use the Add to Set tool to copy these walls into both of the design options in the Facade Glazing Features option set.
- Use the Active Design Option menu to open the Curtain Wall design option for editing, then change the type of the exterior walls in this option to Storefront.
- Edit the properties of the Storefront curtain wall type to include horizontal and vertical mullions on all the curtain panel edges.
- Use the Active Design Option menu to return to the Main Model and note which design option is displayed.
- Try changing the Primary Option within this option set to select which facade glazing design option will be displayed by default as the leading candidate.
