- Hermitage Museum
Designed by the famous architect Rastrelli, it is an outstanding example of mid-18th century Russian Baroque architecture.
The eight departments have a total collection of more than 2.7 million objects, including a collection of prehistoric culture and Egyptian art, as well as a large number of Italian, Spanish, German, British, Russian, Belgian, Dutch and French paintings and carvings.
According to reports, the total length of the Hermitage Museum exhibition line is 30 kilometers, known as the world's longest art gallery. It would take more than four hours to complete the journey at a normal speed. It takes 11 years to spend one minute in front of each exhibit for eight hours a day.
- The Palace Mesuem
The Palace Mesuem in Beijing is not only the largest ancient architectural complex in the world, but also contains a large number of precious cultural relics. It is a comprehensive museum of China established on the basis of the imperial palaces of the Ming and Qing dynasties and their collections, as well as the largest museum of ancient culture and art in China. There are as many as 1,052,653 cultural relics, collectively known as 1 million cultural relics, accounting for 1/6 of the total number of cultural relics in China.
I think it is the supreme center of power in China for more than five centuries, with its landscaped gardens and the vast complex of 9,000 rooms housing furniture and artifacts. There is no doubt that it is an invaluable historical witness of Chinese civilization in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
