Interview Findings for My Focus Area

I was able to interview 10 people in total. Five of these people were between the ages of 15-18. Four of these people were between the ages of 40-60.

It seemed as if all the teenagers were more concerned with industrial and outside water use such as wasting water when people are at hotels and such. The older age group of people I interviewed were much more concerned with the water that could be conserved for agricultural uses and everyday home usage.

The questions that I had primarily asked during these interviews were the following:

1. Tell me about water use within your home. How sustainable do you think your family is with water?
2. What are your thoughts on water conservation?
3. What areas do you believe we can create change in regarding water conservation?
4. Who do you think is impacted the most? Why?
5. What do you think are the major obstacles toward said changes? How and Why?
6. Are there any legal, social, or business insights you can provide regarding water conservation?
7. Do you have anything else that you would like to share with me on the topics of this interview?
