Sustainability is the human effort to pursue the way to carry out the human development without sacrificing the natural environment.
This approach means that we human doesn’t only focus on the current situation, but also consider about the future generation activities.
From the aspect of construction industry, how can we achieve sustainability?
At least, we have to utilize the local natural environment leveraging the technology.
In addition, we try to use local material which adapts to the local environment leading enlarging long span usage. Furthermore, it is necessary to decrease the operational cost and energy, which are the most impactful part of the life cycle analysis. To reduce energy usage during the material sourcing / production process is also important.
