This is my lab station that has 3 desks, total of 6 chairs, ADA complaint bathroom with sink and toilet, and storage room with shelves, lab table, and sink. I designed the station with the meeting area being a focal point because collaboration is an important aspect of any field, especially research. The meeting area has a nook with chair surrounding a table and with the chairs back facing the office area. This was designed to maintain focus in meeting and not directly have the sun shining in your face. The office configuration is meant to induce further collaboration by sitting close and facing each other. Lastly, the work bench was put in the storage area to consolidate all materials into one space and not make the main office feel cluttered.
