For my proposed design of the new TwitBook office building, my design was inspired by the Turning Torso building in Scandinavia. The TwitBook has a rotation of 10 degrees on each of the 10 stories. Each wall of the office building is covered in curtain walls so that any employee sitting anywhere within the building can have a view of the outside and surrounding cityscape. Within this design are two stairways and a proposed elevator shaft for two commercial elevators to be placed for ease of accessibility of the building. Two bathrooms and two utility rooms are proposed next to the stairs for consistent layouts of important rooms throughout the entire building. The unique geometry of this building will for sure make it and the company standout from others in Mountain View.
