Planning for the interview

Narrow the problem down to Brazilian beaches

Planned demographics:

• Different age groups
• Different social backgrounds
• Local X Tourist
• Vision from an “internal” (Brazilian) tourist visiting a beach, for example, in another state
• Vision from an “external” (foreigner) tourist that has visited Brazil

Questions:

How often do you do go to the beach? (for foreigners, that would be: how many times have you visited Brazil?)

Tell me about what you consume when you go to the beach. Do you bring and/or buy goods there?

Tell me about what you do when you generate trash in the beach? (1st and 2nd interviews) → Tell me about the last time you went to the beach. (pause) What happened to the trash you generated there?

What challenges have you faced while trying to disperse the trash you generated while on the beach? What about where do you collect the trash?
