First, I made sure that my base geometry was large enough (ie. 300*450). Next, I was able to run the variables of top height and rotation feeling confident that I would get the required floor area. I also decided to limit my height to the highest possible values and I increased the rotation so that it would not shrink the floor area by a large factor.
