The TwitBook Team asked for something sustainable, homey, and memorable. Therefore, an abandoned factory was decided on as a starting point. The smaller factory space would be the greeting, maker, lunch, sleeping, and a work space as well as many more things. Old and new meet in this design as a balance honoring the past and securing a future on the cutting edge. The buildings are juxtaposed so that the employees can understand there is a place to work and a place to play. When they are in the office, they are dialed in and collaborating to get things done. In the old factory, they can sit back, relax and chat about life and what to do on the weekend. Brick also runs through the core of the tower as a reminder of the past and how those who are starting at TwitBook will lay the future for the company.
