Description

Welcome to my research station, designed with innovation and functionality. The station's unconventional U-shaped structure stands out in the world of research facilities, offering a refreshing departure from conventional designs. With a total area of 583.9 square feet, our station is a testament to our commitment to creating a distinctive workspace. In the west wing, I thoughtfully incorporated essential amenities, including a storage closet with elevated windows for privacy, an ADA-compliant bathroom with a toilet, sink, wooden door, and a small window. Additionally, a cozy meeting room furnished with a table and four stools features large windows for natural light and ventilation, promoting productive discussions among researchers. Moving to the east wing, our fully equipped laboratory space boasts abundant strategically placed windows, maximizing natural light and ventilation for scientific work. Furnished with chairs, tables, a sink, and an 8-foot bench for supplies, the lab's glass entrance door promotes transparency and connectivity among team members. On the station's sloped roof, I installed photovoltaic (PV) panels to harness solar energy, showcasing our commitment to sustainability. The south side of the building features strategically placed windows to capture sunlight throughout the day, enhancing the working environment. Upon entering the research station through an inviting glass door, you'll experience the modern and welcoming atmosphere that defines our facility.
