Description

The project takes the premise of the research station with some of the emphasis and attempts to use unconventional layout and building elements placement to solve the issue. Instead of windows, the building is has 4 sliding doors on each of its long sides. The slender profile of the building and the sliding doors which can be fully-open or shut give the inhabitants choice to allow maximum air circulation or insulation. The circular form of the partition walls for the bathroom and storage provides a level of dynamism within the enclosed space.
