What are the primary goals of creating a building model?
Originally, I wanted to make this model as large as possible. My goal was for the model to be huge, with a decent number of rooms, but overall, I aimed to create a vast space that could accommodate hundreds of people for events
How much detail should you include in your building model? How do you decide?
wanted the underground to be made of concrete, while the outside of the model would be wood to give off a cozy feel. I believe the key stages were creating the walls for the model and designing the layout on the floor plan. The walls were the most important part because they can make or break the model.
Many door and window manufacturers provide Revit families for doors and windows that you can specify for your building design.
The benefit manufacturers can gain from using Revit is that it allows them to visualize their models, even if they're not strong visual thinkers. If it's difficult for them to picture their project, Revit helps by projecting it clearly. When using it for families, they can see what potential additions or changes might look like in their home. It also enables them to compare real-life scales to their actual house, just on a smaller model
