Description
The field research station I designed is just under 600 sqft with all desired amenities. There are ample south-facing windows and a window in every room except the restroom. The restroom is over 70 sqft and is ADA-compliant. It is very close to the entry door because the restroom is probably one of the most important features for researchers in remote areas. Adjacent to the restroom, is a 80sqft storage room for all lab equipment. This research station also has a meeting room with multiple windows for decent air flow. The hallway connecting all of the rooms is about 5ft wide, allowing people to pass by comfortably. Lastly, the desk and lab benches are against the wall which allows for more open space to promote social interaction among researchers.
