Description
My proposed Field Research Station is designed to be practical, efficient, and comfortable for small teams working in remote environments. The layout keeps things simple but purposeful. As shown, it holds three workstations spaced to encourage collaboration while still giving each researcher enough room to focus. The building includes an ADA-compliant restroom and clear circulation paths for accessibility. Smooth stucco-finished exterior walls and polished concrete floors emphasize durability and low maintenance, while a simple asphalt shingle roof provides reliable protection from the elements. A generous number of window frames capture surrounding views and fill the space with daylight, reducing dependence on artificial lighting and connecting users to their environment. Overall, the station reflects a straightforward, field-ready design built for people who work hands-on and value clarity, comfort, and adaptability.
