Description
This extension has a sloping green roof that offers a combination of outdoor areas-a rooftop, a walled-in second floor balcony, and a covered entrance. The third story green roof is easily accessible from the existing building. Curtain walls line one side of the building to provide ample sunlight and add to the modern feeling. The first floor holds plenty of formal and informal spaces for gathering - with chairs and couches in an open entry and separated study, meeting, and auditorium rooms. An alternative design for the first place has a more sectioned-off floor plan, with more and bigger rooms. The second floor has a small kitchen for a cafe and plenty of seating for students to meet, dine, or take a break.
